A soundtrack from The King 2 Hearts! The title is… Love is crying *oops* Yeah it was ended this week and the fans filled twittersphere with #TK2H tag! Many people tweeted that they kinda feel lost, a typical bittersweet emotion when your favorite tv shows has finally ended forever! Truthfully, only Jesus can feel this life’s emptiness =)
For me, the story is captivating and thrilling too… graph the intense of each episode each episode was steadily above average (of course, with gun pointing even before they got married). There’s always ball rolling from protagonists to antagonists and vice versa. The ending isn’t too fairy tale but acceptable despite some missing connections (in my opinion, Jae Ha and his sister).
Well, I’ve gotta bid adieu for K-Drama for a while. Perhaps will watch Ha Ji Won’s next project, not sure. Her movie As One doesn’t even available in Singapore yet. K-POP seems to get much bigger attention during 2012, this is gonna be their year!

Chuck vs The King 2 Hearts!
Sometime ago I blogged about Secret Garden, well I keep my promise watching the next Ha Ji Won’s drama and this turns out pretty well. Then, I also miss blogging!
Since second week of Mandarin class I got fever plus heavy coughing…now I’ve completed first level’s exam last week and waiting for next level. That’s the reason I’m less free for blogging.
Anyway, while watching The King 2 Hearts I find it really entertaining, thrilling compared to other Korean drama. I even read forums and blogs saying that this action drama stereotype is rare in Korea! Though the main plot is love, there are guns, explosives, evil level 10 bad guys, politics tastes on it. Not merely a lovey dovey couple separated by … family member, memory problem (amnesia), or money.
Let me write a short intro about The King 2 Hearts. Ha Ji Won plays Kim Hang Ah a trained special forces assassin from North Korea. Lee Seung Gi plays Lee Jae Ha, South Korean Prince, the younger brother of the King. The King forms a team to join an International competition called World Officer Championships for North-South to cooperate together. But a man called John Mayer whose enterprise lost billions of money because of the North-South Korea good relationship got bitter and killed the King therefore places Lee Jae Ha as the successor. Jae Ha together with Hang Ah attempt to bring justice and fight with John Mayer who is also a Korean named Kim Bong Goo. And this is just one twist, many other twists if you watch the drama yourself.
Now… the funny thing is ..I find The King 2 Hearts (TK2H) has some connections with Chuck! The pictures above are just some that I put together.
In the first episode of T2KH, Hang Ah confronted Jae Ha in the bathroom. Jae Ha, well his image was like a spoilt brat (supposedly he was in army before, yet he couldn’t fight back). This scene is similar to Chuck and Sarah bathroom fight LOL
Picture 3 & 4, look at the style of pointing gun to comrades LOL
Picture 5 was when Sarah seduced Chuck for elope, funny she chose to belly dance, Chuck was like hypnotized for few seconds. While Picture 6 was when Hang Ah tried to cheer Jae Ha after the King passed away. I’m not so sure how popular this Bo Peep but it worked too.
Picture 7 was when Chuck defused bomb using ..erm, apple juice, non sense but worked. My highlight with picture 8 is just how they show similarities when wearing army costumes, and team mates.
I’ll try to post more things I’ve got in mind actually … such as how in T2KH, the King keeps journal like CIA Agent’s mission, how Jae Ha sent voice-password device while Chuck’s dad will write 1 or 11? and more.
T2KH is ending this week with 2 more episodes on Wednesday and Thursday. I think I won’t be watching any more drama after this. Perhaps temporarily looking ways of improving Chinese through Taiwanese drama or just stop all drama and just Running Man for once a week.
Why did I do this? good question. I really appreciate the casts of Chuck and T2KH. Not as an idol but as each one trying their best to fulfill the dreams, everyone’s dreams.

Let’s Learn Again!
Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything one learned in school.
Turning 26 this month, I once again am making sort of “another” attempt of learning Chinese. Learning spirit self-assessment indicates that I am still as excited as when I entered college!
Mixed feelings .. yesterday morning these butterflies in stomach rumbles like bee out of nervousness. First class turned out okay. Good thing my class isn’t writing, just Hanyu Pinyin. Then suddenly this morning meeting at office, I felt like understanding what people are talking about like having a super brain LOL
After all, take this window of opportunity as supporting factor for my study. All my colleagues offered help to be the “lao shi” but also laugh hearing this newbie talking which is funnier than 3-years old Grace (a daughter of colleague).
Anyway … that quote from Uncle Albert is really something isn’t it… the world sees school degrees as education, that’s what we write on resume..that’s one of many metrics to determine how much I should get paid for, not realizing while on the job, you’re actually utilize your education, that is not your degree but what remains out of your classes!
If education is what remains, question is how to get it? similar like what you take away from school? my own answer is to learn then! learn and practice as much as I can. The Earth is God’s creation, full of wisdom to learn from the rising sun to rising moon.
Theory is something I’d forget unless it’s applied in practice as experience. I guess that’s the formula. So let’s not learn something .. let’s learn MANY things!
The world of sports are mostly hopeful, upbeat … they’re positive people who fight with spirit. No wonder Paul the apostle use it as analogy and comparison.
I just watched Running Man episode 86 guest star Ha Ji Won and Gaeko and it’s awesome! Honestly, never saw variety show as great as this Korean-made show before. Truly is my first beyond-Korean-drama watching experience!

This is the sunset as seen from Hong Kong Island. It was shot with a Nikon F3HP and Velvia 50 film.
I love to travel with my camera capturing moments, light, nature, and architecture. I have been shooting more exclusively with film ever since I lost my digital camera 2 years ago. Most of my earlier photos have been shot with a Nikon F3HP SLR but more recently, I’ve been relying on my quick and portable Olympus XA rangefinder.
